Under the direction of Ellie VanderVeen and assisted by Jacob Zehr, the Fairfield Junior High Chorale is a non-auditioned ensemble comprised of 77 members in seventh and eighth grade. Over the past eight years, the Junior High Choir has consistently received Gold ratings for their performances in the Indiana State School Music Association’s large group festival, defining themselves as one of the finest Junior High choirs in the state. In March of 2012 they were the only middle school chorus to perform at the Central Division American Choral Director’s Association Convention in Fort Wayne.
